2300MP - Lamp approaching limit

Hi all,

 

I have a 2300MP with over 2,000 hours on it. The projector is telling me the lamp is near the end of it's life.

 

I've already purchased a replacement bulb, but my question is this - do I put it in right away?

 

Or do I use the existing lamp until it dies?
