2300mp horizontal band of light.

My 2300mp projector is not only showing a thin horizontal band of light at the top of the screen, and I can't seem to figure out the problem.  It seems like something inside the projector is blocking the rest of the image.  When I plug a computer in all I see is what is on the very top of whatever is being displayed. 

 

It has stayed on the same place for over a year, and this happened after packing it up and taking it to another location - it wasn't dropped or banged around though.

 

Anyone have any ideas?
