2200mp projector no light and just resets?? help

Hi, i recently bought a Dell 2200mp projector and a Dell laptop hoping to get them to work together.

My problem is that i bought 2 lamps for this projector and both don't seem to work ,the power goes on but it does not light up it just seems to reset every 5 seconds about 4 times and the lamp warning comes on and eventually it shuts off.

Considering i have two new lamps i don't understand what is wrong. Could anyone help me?
