2200MP Has Dark Area on Each Side

What sort of screen are you using?

    - If the screen is some what transparent, then it sounds like it is a back-projection screen (which are designed to let most of the light through when the projector is on the other side of the screen from the viewers/audience.)

 

If the projector is on the same side as the audience, then you need a front projection screen (i.e. one that is mostly solid white and opaque) to project on to.

 

Also, is the projector bright enough for the light levels in your building?

    - If the screen is the right sort, then this might be your problem (unless it has been perfect before.) 

 

I feel that looking at the screen might sort out your problem.

This projector has been working perfectly until a week or so ago.  Now there are dark areas (that weren't there before) migrating toward the center from each side.
