1200MP Power Issue

Hello,

I have a Dell 1200Mp Projector which I am using with a Toshiba Equium Laptop.

The problem I have is that if the projector is turned off and then powered on again, it reports that the signal is lost. this only seems to happen when I am displaying on both the LCD (Laptop) and CRT (Projector) at the same time. If I select CRT mode only on the laptop and the power off/on the projector, the signal is picked up ok.

I have tried the same tests with the projector connected to a Dell Latitude D610 and this works ok.

Any ideas anyone?

If I understand you correct the problem you describe does not happen with your Latitue D610, but does occur on your Toshiba Equium. If this is true you may want to check the display optiions on your Toshiba Equium. I have included the link to the owner's manual for the D610 perhaps comparing the display options will help. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/latd610/

Also here is the link to the owner's manual for your projector.
