1200mp Not Starting

Hello! I've got a fun and interesting problem that I can't find any information on. The school that I run tech support for has a dell 1200mp mounted on a ceiling in one of the classrooms, and has recently developed an issue. It plugs in just fine, runs through it's sequence to get to standby mode, but when we attempt to power it on, both orange lights blink once, hold, then shut off, the rest of the buttons glowing a solid blue. About 10-20 seconds later, the orange lights blink on again, hold for about a second, then blink off. Repeat cycle. We never get a picture from the projector, and none of our manuals here or online (that I can find, at least) say anything about this problem. It will turn off after four or five cycles as long as you're holding the power button. Any ideas?
