XPS 8940, app MyDell, update loop
Today there was an update for the App "MyDell" in the microsoft store. Trying to start the app now it is telling that I first have to update the app. But after choosing to run as administrator there is a loop: Before starting the app you have to update it.
Deinstalling and reinstalling makes no difference.
Anyone having this problem too?
(Dell XPS 8940, windows 11 64 pro).

That app really is not needed, IMO. It is to give brand new users a little extra help. You have the latest edition on your new computer anyway and should not need any updates. Check the Dell Drivers and Downloads site and see if anything needs updating. Your computer will be scanned --

The update came automatically through windows store, so I had no choice to avoid it...

I have the same issue with my G5 15 5500. Every time I open MyDell, I get a message saying I need to update the app. Starting the update ends up with that endless loop. I updated all the Dell, Windows and Nvidia drivers, to no avail. This app is as awful as Alienware Center Command.
