windows mobility center options reduced to 6 from 12

hi,

i have a dell xps15 L501X laptop,

i formatted my hard drive for the first time on july 8th 2012 after buying it in dec 2010.

now the options in the windows mobility center has reduced to 6 which i remember was 12 prior to formatting.

also even after installing realtec audio drivers , the shortcut keys above the keyboard is not working.

windows mobility center fix is urgently required as i am not able to play cs1.6 because i have to press fn+f1/f2 to buy things which earlier

was much easier.

earlier the mobility center had options for changing multimedia keys to fn keys

please help-

that is fixed sir, but i still cannot turn my bluetooth off without pressing f2 key which turns my bluetooth+ wifi off.

earlier in win mob center there was an option to turn the bluetooth off but now instead on/off button there is launch button. i cannot turn my bluetooth off by ight clicking bluetooth icon in system tray (there is no longer such option "turn adapter off")

Hi anuj,

I'm glad to know that the issue was fixed. Regarding the Bluetooth on/off button, you will need to make the necessary changes in the BIOS setup.

To enter the BIOS setup restart the system and hit the F2 key on the Dell logo screen. Scroll to the Advanced Tab and you will find the Wireless at the bottom. Once you select Wireless you will find Wireless Switch/hot key which might be set to ALL. You can select here what  you want the hot keys to do. Save and Exit.

Kindly reply with the results.
