Scanning and repairing drive error

I have a Dell a new Dell laptop that I'm unable to use for a year now.  This is the error:

Scanning and repairing drive (\\?\Volume{2d82395b-9f24-4bed-8877-6c326dc7bb5f}): 100% complete.

The system is super slow when try to start the laptop, signing in and opening anything.  It takes hours just to open control panel to delete things that were installed automatically. I ran Malwarebytes and got rid of two viruses and 122 potential threats. I finally got to run a diagnostics test and everything checked out ok. I'm still having trouble opening up and running anything.

What can I do? My son downloaded two games on Dec 2014 and lots of other things automatically downloaded and that's when the problem started.

Please help as I cannot buy him another laptop, this is his 3rd one.
