New Laptop - Purchased with Office 2019 Home/Business - Activation

Purchase new Latitude with 2019 Home/Business.

Did not receive a product key card. 

Did not receive a email with product information.

Did not receive anything in our Dell account digital locker (however the chat with our sales rep for Dell stated it would be in our Dell Digitial Locker)

Spoke with Dell tech support:

1. use the email address it was ordered from to access the MS account; not practical since it was ordered by IT purchasing for a user

2. wanted me to run http://aka.ms/diag_97275

3. next install image from https://officecdn.microsoft.//.2019retail.img

Is this really necessary just to register/activate Office that came factory installed?

(why we didn't buy Office from our normal software vendor i don't know; trying to save time with limited staff i guess)
