Inspiron 5584, DMC, not supported

I purchased my new laptop Dell Inspiron 5584 from a retailer a few weeks ago. This laptop was released in 2019 and it has Bluetooth feature. I have my laptops dell warranty till 2021. Now when i try to install dell mobile connect app from Microsoft Store it says "Device not supported". I have even tried installing Dell Mobile Connect Drivers but it still doesn't work.

How can i fix this issue?

Help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

I have a Dell 3480 AIO desktop newest windows 10, only three mo's old. My mobile app it just jumps off the screen if I try to make a call or send a message, will only stay up on notifications. I have asked tech support about it but got no real answer; it's paired and working somewhat. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still does the same. It is very annoying.

I understand your concerns. Could you let me know how you managed to install Windows 10 on the computer? Did you purchase it and do you have the product key?

Considering that the system has a basic hardware warranty our support towards software are limited. However, we will provide best-effort support to see what best can be done.

The windows were on the system when I purchased it in late July; it has been updated to the newest windows by Microsoft just the last few weeks to the latest windows 10. I also have a four-year warranty with Dell's support. I have version 1903 of windows 10 Home, installed by Microsoft. I also have a premium warranty with Dell.

Also, I get windows 10 installed from the dealer where I bought my laptop and it shows the product key.

I recently bought Dell Inspiron 5593 i7 and on Dell website it clearly mentioned that this laptop supports Dell Mobile Connect feature. However, when I tried to install, it shows an error that the device is not compatible.

I'm also facing the same issue on my Dell Inspiron 5570. I purchased this product in October-2019 and it came up with pre-installed Windows 10. I bought this from an authorized store. I also tried to install Dell Mobile Connect driver, but then also it is showing me your device doesn't support this. What should I do now?

Hi BryDam10

Yes, please see the documented solution at the end of the post:

Joe.Oppenheim had given it all in text and I had added a screenshot of his solution on my system and it works 100%.
