Inspiron 5490, missing MS Office Student and Home edition

I purchased a Dell Inspiron which was supposed to have a MS Office Student and Home edition. When I unpacked on October 17, I am prompted for a key when I try to use MS Office? Dell customer support tried something and said reach out to Microsoft. Microsoft says it is Dell's problem. 10 days I am ping ponged. Mr Suresh V must be proud. Showing a great face at time of sale and a pathetic one during customer support.
