How to re-activate Office 2007 since new motherboard install?
I had to order a new motherboard from Dell for my Vostro 460.
Everything went smooth with install and restart of system.
The only problem is that my office 2007 suite wants activation. No matter what I try or microsoft, it won't activate. Guessing that it is tied in with old motherboard. Is there a way to correct this?
I am all tapped out on cash after cpu failure and of course everybody just wants me to throw money at this..., what a world we live in...,

What version of windows? Office activation is not normally affected by a MB replacement but windows is. You might have to reactivate windows and that should correct the Office activation. support.microsoft.com/.../windows-activation-errors
You can also try this Office site for reinstalling--

If Office 2007 was preinstalled on your Dell it is OEM and tied to the original motherboard.
