How to play games on Dell Inspiron 700m Windows XP/ Unable to play games
Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 700m Windows XP, and I have wanted to play games on my laptop, but when I try launching a game, it opens, then automatically window closes. I though it might be the that I installed the game wrong however I have checked and everything seems fine. I searched online and found that only some games are compatible with my laptop. I also looked to upgrade my graphics card but I haven't seen a video driver upgrade for Dell Inspiron 700m Windows XP. It might not support 3d games which I hope there is a solution for, and the game I'm trying to play is Battlefield 1942. I tried League of Legends and that game seems to work, however other game like GTA or BF1942 don't work. Here are my laptop hardware specifications.

Yes I figured. This laptop is a old one I had, and was giving up for sale. It previously had games installed, however I never used them. Anyhow thanks for the response.
Btw I have a new desktop and laptop, so don't worry about a new system. Just had a question about the previously used laptop, anyway its thanks.
Hope everyone has a great day

That system is over 11 years old. It barely has minimum system requirements to run Windows XP (0.5 GB of RAM) which has past End of Life for 10 months.
There is zero chance you'll be able to game on such poor hardware.
Its way long past the time for you to get a new system.
