Help Dell Dock not Accepting Some Shortcuts

In Windows 10, Dell Dock (v 1.0) will not accept some shortcuts:

"The target of the shortcut you've tried to add can not be found; link will not be added to the dock."

Examples of shortcuts (with target addresses shown) that it refuses are:

• Windows Fax and Scan (C:\Windows\System32\WFS.exe)
• Snipping Tool. (%windir%\system32\SnippingTool.exe)

OneNote also has a problem. Dell Dock accepts it, but the icon is just a plain page that can't be edited.

I suspect Dell Dock is incompatible with Windows 10. (The current version of ObjectDock from Star Dock is incompatible.)

Any ideas on how to get it to accept Fax & Scan and Sipping Tool shortcuts and how to edit OneNote's icon?
