Has ANYONE gotten the Dell OS Recovery Tool to work?
Am trying to make a recovery USB. Am constantly getting the error message -
"Sorry. An error occurred while extracting image file usbkey.zip. Please check the file and try again."
Searching the web finds many people who didn't get the Dell OS Recovery Tool to work (despite using the program as an admin, making sure the USB was FAT32 and other odd tidbits of advice).
HAS anyone ever gotten the program to work, or should I be looking for a workaround?

(I'm confused - and new to Dell - why do I need a service tag here?)

I have the same issue, and have tried all the described work arounds:
- running as Administrator
- reformatting USB key to NTFS
- looking for iso image (nowhere to be found)
- changing language settings on download page for recovery tool
Unfortunately, this means I am stuck and unable to upgrade the SSD!! I am in urgent need of help here...

Did you ever get this working? I'm also unable to find the usbkey.zip anywhere to try and burn the image myself.

Set the preferred language for Windows to US English, and then try the tool again. Why this should make any difference, I have no idea, but it seems to fix the problem.
