Friends don't let friends use Dell Backup and Recovery

Dell Backup and Recovery is one of the worst backup programs I have ever used.  But I did pay for it (the "premier" LOL! edition), and had the chance to use it for an attempted "recovery" recently.

After spending many months trying to even get a single system backup to complete successfully, Dell finally released an update that allowed the backup to complete.  I am using a Dell Venue 11 tablet running Windows 10.

On the positive side, the Dell Backup and Recovery is easy to use to create and "restore" a system backup.  The negatives include LOSING your most recent system backup if you need to go back farther in time.  No other backup software is this retarded, even Windows system restore lets you keep all of your restore points.

My restore "worked" in the sense that the computer was bootable, however, Microsoft Office was completely corrupted, and had to be uninstalled, as was the Microsoft "Store".  Thanks Dell!  Two out of three of the branches of the Federal Government are operational, and that ain't bad ...

I restored from another backup imaging program that is my primary, and everything worked just fine, no data or program loss at all.

In summary, if your data is important, use at least two backup solutions, and hopefully, Dell Backup and Recovery isn't one of them!
