DMC app keeps restarting and wont stay open

I can get the Dell Mobile Connect app connected to my XPS 15 7590, and all drivers are up to date. Still, the actual Mobile Connect window won't stay open for long, and it renders the app unusable. You click to open it, it appears for a brief 10-20 seconds and then closes again, reverting to running in the background only. It especially closes itself even faster when I'm in the messages/texts tab. I sill receive alerts(notifications) through Mobile Connect, but when I click them, the Mobile Connect window will open for a brief few seconds and disappear again, the same story. I have uninstalled/reinstalled both the app and the drivers to no success; Please help!
