Dell Migrate Questions

Im used Dell Migrate to transfer files from the old Inspiron laptop to a new one and very nervous about it.

Q1:

The instructions say the Administrator must be the same on both laptops.

The old laptop has a Administrator Account that no longer has a valid email so the account is inaccessible and I need all the files and desktop from the account on old laptop.

How do I migrate files from the old account when I cant match the accounts?

Q2:  

Is it optional to remove the migrated files from the old laptop.  I dont want to change anything on the old laptop until Im assured the new laptop is working right.
