dell inspiron 7700 unable to add dell mobile connect due to not compatible

I had to restore my brand new Inspiron as the windows update causing my system crash on loading. I had to fix the system via the command prompt and a system repair. Dell connect was working prior to this and before the system tried to apply the new update. Now that I reinstalled Windows, Dell says my system is not compatible with Dell connect 3.3. I was able to get it to work yesterday and download drivers for 3.0 but am unable to find a download for the application for 3.0 now. Microsoft Store only shows 3.3 and it wont even let me download due to incapitability.I have seen previous posts for adding a line to regedit to fix 3.3 but I am not computer savvy enough to know what and how to do that.
