Dell was able to fix my certificate error by resetting Internet Explorer http//support.mircosoft.com/kb/923737 and then delete temporary folder by going to start, run, type temp,ok, select all files by hitting Ctrl and letter A, Press Shift and delete together. Then go to start again, run, type Prefetch, ok, select all files by pressing Ctrl and letter a together. Press shift and delete key together, click yes. Hope it works.

That certificate issue comes up occasionally on various sites. In the specific Dell case the site is valid. It has nothing to do with your PC or your PC's security software.
Vertisign is the primary internet security certificate validation site. The reasons for the security certificate warnings can be the certificate is pending, the certificate expired, the certificate is valid but some software has an error or has not been updated, etc.
You should still be able to use the site.

Not sure if this is the right answer. Not all functions of Dell datasafe work properly since a week or so. The certificate error is saying that dell uses a certificate that has been awarded to www.nobu.backup.com !
