Dell Backup and Recovery - Can't restore missing files/folders
I lost several files and folders during my upgrade from Win 8.1 to Win 10. I have been running DBR local premium for several years backing up to a USB hard drive. I have also successfully restored files in the past. Now, when I try to restore these missing files, which are present in the catalog, the DBR software does not see the (DBR_Master) even though it is connected as drive F:.
Also got a message when initializing DBR on Win 10 that it wants me to delete/archive all of my system files from Win 8. I have not done either. Question is, how do I get the Win 8 backups restored to my upgraded Win 10 system?

Hi Robin,
Thank you for the feedback! Unfortunately, I already had 1.9.0.22 installed when I did the Win10 upgrade and that is what is giving me the problems. Any other ideas are greatly appreciated as I really need these files!
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Robin,
I am not sure what you are saying in your previous post. When I upgraded to Windows 10, I was prompted to download and install the new version of DBR software. I did that which brought me to the current version. The DBR still prompts me to connect the DBR_Master even though it is connected and can be seen and browsed to through file explorer. I am not propmpted to download and/or install any other software.
Any additional thoughts on how to resolve this issue?
