Already own Office 365 licenses. Do I need to uninstall Office trial that came with my new XPS?

Already own Office 365 licenses. Do I need to uninstall Office trial that came with my new XPS then download my other copy from Office 365? Or is there a way to simply give them a license key?I do not like to install large packages like Office to my solid state drive.  I want to install it to my d:\ instead.

I would uninstall the trial and download the full program from microsoft, that way you can tell it where to install.  Not sure if you can direct the trial where to install office..

I kinda messed up when it comes to installing only on my d:\.  I called MSFT licensing support and they directed me to simply log into Office 365 and "Download Software".  The install went really fast, but it never gave me the opportunity to change where it was installed.  The good news is my legit copy of Office 365 is now recognized and even activated on my new XPS.  The bad news is it chewed up a good bit of my SSD.  Thanks!
