Adobe Printer has stopped working

Running Windows 7 on Inspiron 1510.  When attempting to print a PDF file, you get a message "adobe printer has stopped working" after which the print option ceases to exist.  I've tried uninstalling and reloading Adobe 10, but the issue still exists.  Here is the error from the event log.  Any ideas on how to proceed?  It is not the drivers, since it prints MS Excel, Word, emails, basically anything else but Adobe PDFs.  I normally just forward them to my iMac to print, but that is getting old.  Any help is appreciated.

Make sure to use the print option in the Adobe application by using the printer icon, not the print command on the File menu. Try right clicking on the document and selecting Print from that menu. Make sure your printer is connected and turned on.

Thanks Mary.  Right clicking on the document and selecting the print option from that menu did the trick and I was able to print successfully.  Good advice.
