Wifi printer no longer recognising the 2.4Ghz bandwidth

After working well for a few years now, my C1660W has decided not to recognise the 2.4Ghz bandwidth. It sees local 5Ghz networks, so I wonder if the adapter has developed a fault. 

No changes have been made by me as the last firmware update was in 2018.

Any ideas?
