This is a Lexmark/ Dell Printer problem and very easily solved.

1. Click Start

2.Click Control Panen

3. Click Device and Printers

4. Right on the 515w Dell/ Lexmark Printer

5. Choose Preferences

6. Choose Advanced Tab -then select options

7. Select " Never Show" and un select "Show Baloon tips"

8.Click OK TWICE!

9. Restart the computer

Enjoy solution

Are you running Windows 7 and IE 11?  If so,remove what is in queque. Uninstall IE 11 and revert to IE 10.  Reboot, and try to print.

yes I am. Will do. and report back here. One more thing I wanted to mention that it prints the very first document I send after I start the computer. Would not print any subsequent document - I will have top restart the computer and it prints the docs in queue.

That is the exact problem many people are having, including myself. Uninstalling IE 11 fixed it for us.

You da man BROADWAYJOE!

I had the exact same PRINT JOB STUCK IN QUEUE issue with a Dell Windows 7 desktop, a V313 printer and Google Chrome (not Internet Explorer). I reloaded drivers, uninstalled Norton Antivirus, reset spoolers, cleared files, rebooted a hundred times, and ran more diagnostics programs than I thought existed. I was about to re-install Win 7 but that seemed too drastic.

I followed your simple procedure above, and PRESTO! - no more problem.

I really have no idea why this worked, but it did and I am extremely grateful.

Thanks big time...

my dell printer doesn't work with my computer suddenly, but the printer seems all right, because I can make a copy etc.

harryxprinter,

Using Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or Windows 10? If yes, then...

Start, control panel, devices and printer, your printer, printing preferences, advanced, more options. Tell it to never show. The problem with this setting is you cannot tell if you're low on ink, printer jams, Etc.
