Printer E525w scanning issues - won't let me scan

Today, I tried to scan a signed document that my CPA needed and it wouldn't let me.  Have tried all the troubleshooting I know to do, read the manual, can't figure it out.  Can anyone help.  It's a 2017 printer.  Haven't had any problems until today.

Are you on a Mac? Was an issue with Big Sur, but there is a new driver, released yesterday!! My scanner stopped working too with Big Sur, but I can scan again now.

I'm on iMac; Big Sur 11.5.1. I still cannot get this scanner to work even after downloading this new driver. How are you scanning? I open SP>Printers & Scanners> Dell> Scanner> Open Scanner then each time I get:

You do not have permission to open the application “Dell E525w Scanner (ICA)”.

I am the only user/admin on this iMac...
