Printer Configuration Web Tool -- Where is it?
Greetings, all:
I have a Dell 5110CN color laser printer and I'm trying to assign a static IP address to it; from what I've read I should use the Printer Configuration Web Tool. Great, but where is it? I've looked high and low on this site (and elsewhere) and can't find its file to download.
TIA for your help!
Rich

YourMajesty,
It is imbedded in the driver download.
Embedded Applications
Useful applications embedded in the printer firmware or installed with the driver include:
Embedded Web Server Overview
Like many routers, the Dell™ Workgroup Color Laser Printer 5100cn and 5110cn have a web-based interface — the Embedded Web Server (EWS) —that customers can use to configure the printer without having to connect it directly to a computer. When the 5100cn and 5110cn connect to a network, the EWS is available.
The EWS is only available when the printer connects directly to a network. The tool is not available when the printer connects to the network through a computer.
Your customers may need to configure some settings through the Operator Panel before they can connect to the EWS.
The following pages describe the EWS in more depth.

I'm out of luck, then, since there's no driver for a Mac. I tried entering http://192.168.0.105/ews/index.htm , but to no avail. (I assigned a static IP address through the printer's user interface. I can print to it, but I can't see the EWS.)

I'm having the same issue. I can't figure out how to set up "Scan to email" on my printer, so I am trying to do it from the app, but I'm on a Mac, so there is no app? I'm at a dead end with no way to scan.
