printer certficate expired E525w

I updated Macbook pro and now my E525w printer paused "certificate expired"  When I go into printer on my Mac to "Show printer web page"  I am unable to access web page....Instead I'm unable to open.  DNS_Probe_Finished_NXDOMAIN

I've tried typing the printer's IP address into the url bar and get nothing....

Help? How do I get rid of the "printer certificate expired" message?  Please use layman's terms....I am not "techy." Thank you!

General procedure here is for an HP printer but should work for any printer.

Because the printer security certificate that macOS uses has expired, that's why Mac shows “certificate expired”—it blocks the printing because macOS doesn't trust the printer certificate.

A quick way that people use to fix it.

Remove the printer from System Settings → Printers & Scanners and add it again (sometimes choose AirPrint instead of Secure AirPrint).

Turn the printer off and back on.

If possible, generate the new printer certificate form the web page or update the printer firmware (best fix).
