MAC Wirelessly Connected to DELL E525W

System Configuration: MAC running OS 10.12.5 (Sierra) Problem 1: I have to reboot my MAC in order for the printer to print. It seems as though the computer or printer is timing out after a while. I don't know what to do to troubleshoot. The same issue occurs on my HP tablet so it doesn't appear to be an issue with the MAC. Problem 2: I attempt to scan so I hit "Scan" on the printer but after a few moments I get an error saying "Access to scanner denied." I have no idea what I need to do to correct this. Thanks,

As an FYI - here is "Configure Dell Wi-Fi Laser Printers" web-page

melkoncg mentioned rebooting the PC and Mac just to print, but no mention of rebooting the printer.  As a suggestion, try looking at your router settings.  Some suggestions include resetting the router back to the factory default settings, update the router firmware to the latest version, and visit the manufacturer's support page.
