I get this msg continually, and I think it's associated with my printer, but I can't download the right software component.

I'm getting this message everytime I turn on my computer.  I've gone to Microsoft and downloaded all I can, but seems to not be working.  Conversely, I can't use my scanner properly....

Any ideas for a quick fix?

MeliMel604,

This was a known problem with Windows 7 upgrade. Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Error After Upgrading to Windows 7

First run Delete Print Jobs to remove stuck print job(s) from the queue.

Restart your computer.

Hit the Windows key and the x keys at the same time, programs and features, your printer, uninstall.

Restart your computer.

Hit the Windows key and the x keys at the same time, control panel, Windows Updates. Make sure you have the latest updates.

I would then download the Vista 64-bit drivers for this system and save them to your desktop. Get the drivers from Dell V105 All-In-One Printer owners thread (W7)

With the computer online, install the Vista drivers in the Vista SP2 Compatibility mode

Remember virus programs and firewalls will block communications. If you did not install any virus program, then Windows Defender is the default. Try reading...

Allow Printer past Microsoft Essentials/Windows Defender

Hi Amelia,

To assist you further, please let me know the model of the printer, computer model and operating system installed in the computer.

Also let us know how the computer is connected to the printer (wired or wireless).

Awaiting your response!

Hello, sorry yes, that would be good information to have.  It is a Dell V105.

Computer is wired to printer.

Using Windows 8 os.
