Help setting up Dell Colour Laser Printer c1765nfw
Forgive my naivety, but having already gone through the set-up process for a similar but less complex product, (an HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw) and despite myself, managed to make it work, I am approaching this colour printer with some trepidation!
As I say, it's been gifted to me and really needs a good clean of the case and control panel before I even plug it in to see if indeed it is "alive".
The first problem I seem to have uncovered is that the driver versions cease after Win 8.1
My PC and laptop are Windows 10 Pro and Home!
Do drivers exist for these OS's.
I also use Linux on a couple of laptops, but can leave that can of worms for the time being!
I would just be pleased to get the machine working happily in Windows 10 with some advice and help from this community!
Thanks in anticipation.

Curiosity got the better of me!
Decided to power it up and the good news is that despite a rather strange smell which I attribute to "Hot Dust", it has copied and printed a photo I scanned and has not caught fire, ...yet!
Whilst the colour balance of the picture leaves the subject looking rather seasick, it proves that the machine is working and shows promise!
Then I got adventurous, managed without much pain to connect to my network, that was a pleasant surprise, the other machine was very temperamental with this function and took many attempts before achieving a successful and enduring connection.
The bad news is that connecting to my PC results in an "entry" in the Settings > Bluetooth and other devices, qualified by "Driver is unavailable".
So far all very positive, I just hope that you guys can help me with the Drivers for Windows 10 and I can call this a success!
Now going to power it down and attempt some not too invasive cleaning and hope that the connections so far established will endure!
Looking forward to your help and advice.

Did you try to install the drivers listed on the C1765NFW MFP Laser Printer page?
Dell Color Multifunction Printer | C1765 HB, Scan, and Fax Drivers
* Under Additional details, Supported Operating Systems
* Shows Windows 10, 32-bit and Windows 10, 64-bit

Hi Chris M, sorry for delayed response, didn't get a notification email!
Can't truthfully recall what drivers I ended up installing but it now has a whole load of stuff listed!
Currently wrestling with trying to find a way of getting it to accept what was called "Government Letter" (8 in x 10 in).
I've posted here
Any help gratefully received.

@Dirty Lil Monkey I'm responding to my own post of 23rd Dec 24.
particularly regarding use of the Scan facility.
originally, I was able to scan documents and create digital copies that were almost indistinguishable from the original paper document.
They also printed excellently.
Now, I'm finding that the digital scan in both "preview and Scan" modes is a pale imitation of the original and since as I understand "Printing" is WISIWIG, I can only expect this same washed out copy.
Which is nothing to do with toner levels as the digital copy is where this fault occurs.
Wondering if it is because I'm invoking "Windows Fax and Scan" because I cannot for the life of me find something in the above folder screenshot which pokes the scanner into life.
Would someone please respond and help me?
