Epson ST-C2100 printer not printing black color

Ever since I moved a year ago, the black color will not print. Have tried every troubleshooting option. Will not print nor copy black, especially a PDF document. Most documents will print pale blue rather than black.

Sounds like a toner or print head issue. Try these:

  1. Check if the black toner is low or clogged.
  2. Clean the print heads, maybe with a soft cloth or the printer’s built-in cleaning option.
  3. Make sure the toner cartridge is properly seated.
  4. If it’s still printing blue, try replacing the black toner.
