Display not working on Dell 3110cn

I have a 13.5 year old Dell 3110cn color laser printer that I love. I have never had a single problem with it - not even a paper jam. Now, however, the LCD display on the top is not working. The printer powers up and cycles but there is nothing on the display even thought it is illuminated. And the Exclamation Point (!) button to the right of the display is lit up orange. Nothing is printing and there is no way to access the menus to troubleshoot without the display. Any ideas? I've tried powering on and off multiple times, disconnected and reconnected both the power and Ethernet cables, tried a USB cable, etc. Please help. Thank you.
