Difficulty in cancelling print jobs.

 My printer seems to work fine, except when I cancel a job sent to the printer when it is in the ready state it just hangs.  I have a 1350cnw and this may not have anything to do with the printer operation.  Please explain in Windows Vista how one can effeciently cancel a print job, step by step.  I'm probably doing something stupidl
