Dell V313W all in one printer
Hello,
My V313w printer has suddenly stopped printing and scanning. When I try to scan it says, 'Downloading Application List' and nothing happens. It just reverts back to 'Select Computer'. The printer is connected wireless and the Wi-Fi is showing solid green. I have checked for software updates and it says I have the most up to date version. I am using Windows 10.
I have disconnected the printer from the power supply, reconnected and rebooted my pc. I still have the original problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

BrianS2017,
First, I would remove all the printers from the scan list. Removing computers from printer scan list
Restart nthe computer.
Unplug the printer from the wall. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the printer back in. After the printer starts, wait 2 minutes, then try scanning and printing.
Did you Turn off Balloon Tips as it interferes with communications?

Hello Rick,
Dell wireless printer adaptor 3300 does not exist on my pc or I just can't find it.
I have turned off balloon tips.
In 'Scan Destinations' it says:
'Application list has been updated. Select refresh from The Scan to Computer List on the printer control panel'.
I can't locate the option to refresh.

BrianS2017,
The Dell Wireless 3300 was a way of connecting the older Dell Printers that were not wireless. Since your printer is wireless, that should not be an issue.
Let's try a small different approach. Your wireless router, do you know what channel your wireless router is using? If you're not sure, you can run Network Interface and post the information back here. Most wireless devices work best on channels 1, 6 or 11. I prefer channel 11. If your channel has some other channel or auto, I would change the router to channel 11. You will have to restart the wireless router, computer and printer and wait for everything to reconnect.
If you know the printers IP address, type it in your address bar and look for Host management, Then remove all the computers from the list. When each computer connects, the list will be regenerated with the current computers and all the older computers will be removed. If you do NOT know the printers IP address, the run ipinfo.cmd and at the bottom, you'll see a list of IP addresses. One of those IP addresses belongs to the printer.
