DELL V305 Wireless Printer Made in China
Dear Support Forums.
I didnt found any other solution to type, and ask for help/cure on my problem.
Im using Windows 7 on a DELL Hybrid computer and a DELL Inkjet All in one v305.
I just bought new inks..
I didnt found my original install disk...
tryied to download but ive found windows 7 drivers only in Chinese. Cant stand with that.
Please help to solve my problem.

Mark,
Operating system in English of Chinese?
First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.
Disconnect the printer.
Start, control panel, programs and features, your printer, uninstall.
Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal
Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).

Remember virus programs and firewalls will block communications.
As for scanning, if you have the disk that came with the printer, then insert the Printer disk and stop it from running. Go to My Computer and double click on it. Look for the drive with the Dell disk in it. Right click on it, left click explore. Look for the OCR Folder. In the OCR Folder, there is an Abbyy Folder. right click on setup.exe, that's in the Abbyy Folder and left click run as administrator. This will install the OCR program.

I tried this in announcements but engine.dll couldnt open error message and exits....

Before installing the driver, try to restart the system. This was worked for me! Thanks Rick *english version couldnt be downloaded from the main DELL support site. Its hard for an average user. Thanks

You were able to download the English version from Dell's website using the link I provided, correct?
Do you need to scan documents and or fax from this printer? If yes, If you CLICK HERE, on the next page, send a private message, we can discuss the OCR Program(needed to copy and fax) options there.
