Hi deaconjo,

as i had the same problem, i found a solution for my El Capitan MacPro 2008:

Search for the following installer:

3130cn_Installer_And_Application_Dell_A04_MAC.dmg

Inside that package you will find the driver for 10.7 and higher. After installing the package i could add an IP-Printer with this driver:

Dell 3130cn Color Laser v3017.104 PS

With that driver installed i can use my Dell 3110cn without a problem.

Maybe it could help you too.

Regards

Hello Deaconjo,

There is currently no plans to support MAC OS on this model due to age and technically limitations. You can try using the universal drivers built into OSX though.

Hi d-fense.

I'm experiencing the same problem.

Could you please provide an url for this driver?  I'm not able to find it.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi bjornmy,

After searching the net I think I found the URL of the drive suggested above as I have the same problem with my reliable Dell 3110cn printer.

Here it is: fbdrivers.net/driver-dell-3130cn-mac-os-10-8.html

I am just trying to install this and open the package to see if I can actually set it up. I will update this post either way. Hope it works.

Season greetings,

JimPatrick
