Dell E525w: Copies produce a large, black rectangle

Greetings! I'm new to the forum and hope I am going about this the correct way. Problem: When making a copy, using a Dell E525w printer, there is a large, black rectangle from top to bottom on the copied sheet. Strangely, when printing a copy directly from the computer, the copy is wonderful! Anyone heard of this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? When searching on the Internet, I have not read of anyone having this type of problem. (I have read much about black lines but not solid, black rectangles (about 4.25 inches wide,) from the top of the page to the bottom of the page.) Cleaning suggestions from the user's manual have all been done. This problem started "out of the blue." The printer has been wonderful since July 20, 2018 until one day this summer (2019): that morning it worked fine, that afternoon, the problem started and still exists. Thank you, prezach
