Dell E525w 64-bit driver for Mac OS Catalina 10.15?
Well, it’s been several months since Dell has been aware that Catalina will no longer support 32-bit apps/drivers… We’re past the public release and still no 64-bit update? Just chatted with support and they have no timeline for an updated driver, or any knowledge that an updated driver is even in the works. wow.
Anyone out there have a work-around for at least print capability?

The MacOS print and ICA scan drivers for the E525w were updated to 64-bit early in 2019. The latest "Printer E525w Installer & Application Dell A03 Mac.dmg" file contains the 64-bit update and is available as a driver download on Dell.com.

I had already tried that update before chatting with Dell tech support. It’s literally why I reached out to Dell, because the latest driver did not work. In the release notes, it stays it's compatible up to OS X 10.14.
You did see in my original post that Dell tech had no info regarding Catalina support? Am I missing something?

Just stumbled upon this thread because I had the same issue after upgrading to Catalina and I have the same Dell printer (E525w). The "encryption error" tipped me off but your post confirmed it... had to add a new printer in System Preferences and select plain ol' "AirPrint" instead of "Secure AirPrint". I guess this disabled encryption and all works fine now. I've not tried advanced printing features or different options yet like double-sided but at least it's working! God luck!
