dell document hub is not connecting to dell printer e310dw
Cannot get the app on my Galaxy S7 to connect to my Dell E310dw printer. Would love some suggestions, as I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app + turning the printer on & off. Thanks!

Hi Steve,
I have not worked with these yet but am familiar with some Printers and Samsung phones, so I would like to try and help. Currently on your e310dw, how do you have it connected to your network/computer? So, Wireless/Wired ethernet or are you just using it on USB to your computer (I know your question is on the phone but wanted to get an idea of setup)?
Best regards,
Brad

Printer is accessed thru wireless router - no cable is attached from it to a pc.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the quick response, let me see what I can find on this. Also, if possible would you be able to hook up the printer wired to the router temporarily? I'll try to fix it wirelessly first, but have personally had more success wired, that doesn't mean that we can't get the wireless setup to work though. I just wanted it mentioned in case.
Regardless, let me look into this.
Best regards,
Brad

Thank you for your quick reply, Brad. Sorry for my delay - am out of town now, but will return home tomorrow.
Do want you to know that the printer has worked wirelessly from both of our home laptops, our desktop pc, my Dell tablet & my Samsung Galaxy S7. When I get home tomorrow I'll check to see if the printer still responds to the pc's & the tablet - & verify if the only problem is with my phone.
Re: plugging in the printer directly to a pc via the printer's cable - can try that also, if you think that will provide you more useful info.
Thank you again for your attention to this problem!

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the update and no worries on the delay! If you can let me know the current status of the other systems/tablets/phones that would be great I just wanted to isolate what the issue is.
As for the direct connection, we can hold on that for now, but it would be via ethernet directly to the router you're using and not the pc etc. that way it would still function directly as a network printer.
Best regards,
Brad
