Dell C2660dn Mojave issues

Hello,

We have a few Dell C2660dn printers and when we try to print from them using Macs running Mojave, the images print out boxy/pixelated. We've tried removing/readding with the Driver that Dell provides in addition to the generic postscript and PCL drivers built into MacOS. This happens both via USB and on the network. Text looks fine, it is only with the images. It is happening when printing from any program (Office, Preview, Chrome, etc).

To test, I reinstalled an older version of MacOS (Yosemite) on a laptop and the images printed normally, then after updating that same computer to Mojave, the issue with the pixelated images returned.

I contacted Dell support and they suggested that I just use Windows instead, so I'm not sure where to go from here.

This is an example of what it looks like on my screen and after printing it out.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Hi @mdxd123,

Welcome to the Dell Community!

Our scope of support is limited on a non-windows OS due to technical support suggested you install windows operating system to rule if it is hardware or software issue.

As per the printer model, looks like the drivers available for MAC OS are compatible with Mac OSX 10.6 to Mac OSX 10.13. This could be one of the reasons why the latest update of MAC OS is causing this issue. I would suggest kindly contact Apple Support for further suggestions in this matter. I also see technical support has reached out to you with some reference link which can help you with this issue. Please do review the same and reply to their email incase you need any further assistance.
