Dell C2660dn Error code 007-340

I have a 4 year old Dell C2260dn laser printer that has seen very light use. After about 6 months of not using it all, I went to turn it on, and towards the end of the startup cycle it stops with the following error message:

Restart Printer - Contact Support If Message Returns

007-340

I did contact support. The support person, however, couldn't give a clear answer to why I am getting this error, but suggested that I replace the imaging drums. I reluctantly ordered a new set of imaging drums; reluctantly since the support person didn't sound very convinced that it would solve the problem, and it didn't.

I have been searching all kind of support information trying to find a description or possible reason for the 007-340 error code, but I am coming up short. I am hoping somebody on this forum may have an insight or an idea about what could be causing it on the C2660dn printer. I have seen this error code mentioned for other printers, but not for the C2660dn.

As a side note: I did find information about how to run CE mode and running through the IOT Diags it sounds like all the motors and clutches are working, or at least making sounds when I test them. That said, I have not been able to get it to feed paper through. It always ends up crumbled up in the back below the fuser unit. I am guessing its possible that the error code is related to the paper feed problem.
