Dell c2660 Won't Print Emoji
It started a few months ago. My fifth-grade daughter had created a document and when I went to print via google cloud, I got a Data Validation error. Print job report showed the document had printed and the error report did not include the 016-720 error.
I connected directly to the printer via USB and still the problem persisted. Her account is through school and is very tightly locked down. I figured a setting somewhere was interfering and gave up.
Last night i tried to print a google doc via google cloud printing and got the same error. I rebooted the computer. I rebooted the printer. I reset the printer defaults and rebooted again. I cleared the job and error history and rebooted again.
I connected directly to the printer via usb and tried again. This time I got an error page followed by the document I submitted up to where I had included emojis in the text. I deleted the three emojis and resubmitted. This time I got the same error page followed by the submitted document up to where I had included more emojis. I deleted the second batch of three emojis and the document printed successfully.
What do I need to do to allow the printer to handle the complete unicode library? I have a Chromebook and a printer and so any Windows/iOS requirements are problematic.
