Dell C1765NFW - OSX El Capitan (El KAPUT-o)

Any timetable on when a new driver will be available for this device ?

All functionality was lost with my Dell C1765NFW printer following upgrade of Mac OSX to El Capitan (General Release not Beta).

I have the same problem but talked with Dell support and they promised a new driver for the C1765nfw

for the iMAC on November 18th, 2015!  Apparently Apple has new security protocols for the printers with

this OSX--El Capitan and wants the vendors for periferals to update their security!!

Once again the release of a new apple operating system has snuck up on Dell.  I was told they have no timeline.  This is getting very frustrating.

Some folks are reporting they can not see the updated drivers. The direct link is below.

Hi Joseph, You guys may have updated the drivers but you didn't seem to solve the problem. I have twice installed the driver you suggested and the printer still does not show up as available (which it did before the el capitan update). I feel like we (your customers) are stuck between a childish fight between Dell and Apple. Just FYI: Apple is bigger than you, meaning they have more bargaining power, so make your products work with theirs or your customers will leave, I assure you I will replace my Dell printer before I replace my apple laptop...

If you have a driver that actually works please respond.
