Dell C1760nw light printing
My Dell C1760nw suddenly started printing black text very light. I normally print using grayscale to use the black toner and save the color. I tried switching to color and I got the same result for the black text, but a link in the document was blue and it printed dark, normal.
The black toner level shows as about 66% and the least color toner shows as about 90%.
I suspect that some setting got changed somewhere but I have no idea what it would be or where to look.
The print cue shows the document I just printed as "Sent to Printer".
Also lately most times when I print something the printer keeps running after all pages have printed and I have to turn it off to get it to stop.
I am running OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041, System Model Inspiron 3471, System Type x64-based PC, Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz, 2904 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 6 Logical Processor(s), BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. 1.4.0, 11/6/2020, SMBIOS Version 3.1
Thanks for your help.

Same issue here. My C1760nw suddenly started printing very light. Color toners are high but only black is about 50%. Did try reset but nothing helped.
I see you did not get a reply to your problem in over a year so not expecting a easy fix.

If your printer is in a room that's got a low humidity level, ink can have a pretty tough job being able to set and dry properly on the page, causing prints that look faint and light. The best place for your printer to be is somewhere that's neither too humid or not humid enough!
