Dell 964 Printer scans but won't save.
Hello, I have a Dell 964 all in one printer connected via a usb cable to a HP ProBook 4520s Laptop running Windows 7 / 64-bit operating system.
I'm having an issue with the scanning feature It scans but it won't save. You can preview, but when you scan the status bar window comes up and does nothing it stays there wondering what to do???
I read some Dell forums and followed the instructions but I still can't get it to save.
I read suggestions such as to uncheck the feature to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" from the Universal Serial Bus Controllers and it doesn't help. I even looked into the settings of my firewall and Dell 964 Server for Home/Work (Private) box is checked.
Can you please help.

I got it fixed.
I read the following forum:

and found the link for the driver update:

Followed the instructions and now it's working.
