dell 922 aio center

I have a dell 922 aio printer. I am running windows 10. I ran the dell cleanup utility and reinstalled the vista driver 151379 in compatibility mode. It works great. I went to look for the dell all-in-one center on my hd and cannot find it.aio

I want to place the aio center on my desktop.

I have the original cd that says the aio center is on it but cannot not find it.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled this driver several times following the above steps with no luck.

I updated the drivers in device manager as well. It says the best driver is installed.

I can use the printer but I cannot use some of the direct scat to tif ,pdf, or ms word like you can using the dell ail in  one center.

Done this before and it was on my hard drive.

I own a Sony vaio running windows 10 and up to date.

Any ideas?  Tried looking at dell down loads center but the only thing I found was the driver which I have already downloaded. I have

The Dell All-In-One Center is in the drivers package, one possible reason it's not installing for you is that the 922 is not supported by Windows 10.  http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/dell-922/drivers

WLDPROJ,

Like Robert stated, the Dell All-In-One Center is in the drivers package. Guessing that you have Windows 10 64-bit, try the instructions below and see if the printer installs with the Dell All-In-One Center.

First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.

Disconnect the printer.

Hit the Windows key and the x keys at the same time, programs and features, your printer, uninstall.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode you’ll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time (powered on).

Links to the drivers can be found at…

Remember virus programs and firewalls will block communications.

You'll still need to install the OCR Program from the printer disk to scan and fax.

As for scanning, if you have the disk that came with the printer, then insert the Printer disk and stop it from running. Go to My Computer and double click on it. Look for the drive with the Dell disk in it. Right click on it, left click explore. Look for the OCR Folder. In the OCR Folder, there is an Abbyy Folder. Right click on setup.exe, that's in the Abbyy Folder and left click run as administrator. This will install the OCR program.
