Dell 5330dn Paper Jams & Damaged Fuser
Paper constantly jamming (can't even get 1 page out without jamming in at least 2 spots). I pulled out the fuser and could clearly see it's rollers were damaged.
I replaced the fuser with a brand new one.
The paper jams immediately continued - at the same spots.
I looked a little deeper to see any other obvious damage to rollers or gears. On the front side of the printer, there are these 2 roller contraptions. One has a belt and the other doesn't. Is the one that doesn't have a belt supposed to have a belt? Even with a belt, the belt seems kinda flimsy/seems like it can easily go off to one side or the other.
Could this be the jamming issue. And could the damage from the fuser actually be caused by the jamming at this part -- or some other part?

Apparently, there was a small cushion/foam piece/padding that was blocking an alternating guide from moving back and forth correctly. Once it was removed, the printer stopped jamming. It looks like the adhesive died and it fell from the top inside of the printer onto the part. Tested printing with the old Fuser (pictured above) that has chewed up rollers, and the printer actually printed [mostly] fine -- (there were some black marks in the top corner of the page). We replaced the Fuser anyway.
