Dell 2155cn MFP and PaperPort scanning won't communicate/Can't scan
Trying to find ANY help with this issue. Have had a 2155cn MFP for 7 or 8 years. Generally works great but recently, the scanner stopped communicating with the computer/PaperPort bundled software. I've tried everything (limited) I can think of but no success. It's connected through our Netgear Nighthawk router. I can't find anything USEFUL online about how to fix this. These are the two messages I get:
Dell 2155 Color MFP TWAIN Driver (LAN)
Unable to connect with the scanner.
Scan your job again
AND THEN
PaperPort Error
Unable to communicate with the scanning device.
The first error message repeats six times then I get the second error. Printing works fine from the various computers but scanning is not available. Doesn't matter if we do one page or try and feed the doc feeder - the computer apparently cant see the scanner. ANY IDEAS?
